Our Story
A Miracle Mile institution since 1989
Founded by lifelong friends John Clarke and Martin Lynch, JohnMartin's has been part of the Coral Gables story since 1989. Over the decades, it has earned a reputation as one of the most recognizable Irish pubs in Miami, known for its welcoming atmosphere, strong whiskey and beer program, and comfort-driven food.
Its legacy is tied to the growth of dining and nightlife on Miracle Mile, helping shape the area into one of South Florida's most social and walkable destinations. In the late 1990s, Martin Lynch played a key role in repealing Coral Gables' 1926 ordinance restricting independent bars. Today, JohnMartin's continues to serve as a neighborhood landmark where friends meet, stories unfold, and nights out become traditions.

At JohnMartin's, we believe in advocacy, building community, and giving back to the charitable organizations that serve South Florida. That's why we launched "Burger For A Cause", a monthly rotating Charity Burger where $5 from every burger sold is donated directly to a featured local nonprofit.
Each month, a special burger is curated in collaboration with our partnering charity, along with local chefs, influencers, or business leaders. Over 12 months, we spotlight 12 unique burgers and 12 incredible charities.
